At this month's art group, we looked at some classic paintings held at The National Gallery and the children then chose an image to paint, using acrylics on canvas. 

The images we looked at included Constable's 'The Hay Wain' .....

Renoir's 'The Umbrellas' ........

& Henri Rousseau's 'Tiger in a Tropical Storm Surprised' .........

Tess and Brodie both chose to paint the tiger picture. Tess's painting ......

and Brodie's ........ (Brodie got a bit carried away with the sky, and I confess that I was pressured into painting some leaves for him, top left!!) ....
